The RN utilizes a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers medications according to policy.

They share in the responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services.

The RN complies with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and policies.

They actively participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model.

The RN supports the Unit Council, participates in improvement initiatives, and contributes to peer review practices.

They engage in professional development, continuing nursing education, and complete all mandatory education requirements.

The RN integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.

They provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.

The RN will follow all organization values.

They will perform other duties as assigned.
