About St. Joseph Medical Center :

  • Level II Trauma Center with a fully staffed team of ABEM-certified physicians
  • 30-bed emergency department with an annual patient volume of 44,000
  • Patient flow of 2.0 patients per hour and an admission rate of 30%
  • Equipped with scribes to support efficient and thorough documentation
  • EPIC EMR for seamless integration and data management

Your Role :

  • Provide both clinical and administrative leadership for EM services
  • Opportunity to partner with our assistant facility medical director, ensuring collaborative and effective leadership
  • Oversee and mentor a team of ABEM physicians
  • Develop and sustain relationships with physicians, hospital administration, and staff
  • Participate in key hospital and TeamHealth meetings to shape clinical strategies and workflows
  • Collaborate with TeamHealth and St. Joseph leadership to ensure the highest standards of care

    • Qualifications :

  • ABEM / ABOEM certified
  • A minimum of three years of leadership experience (5-10 years preferred)
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead teams in a dynamic healthcare environment

    • Compensation and Benefits :

    We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to support your success : competitive hourly rate ranging from $270 / hour to $290 / hour, plus additional monthly director stipend and quarterly performance bonuses. You have the option to choose between employed or independent contractor status.
