[job_card.job_description]Assist the dentist during various procedures, including IV sedation and oral surgeries Explain office procedures to patients prior to treatment Provide compassionate care before, during, and after treatment Manage patients during procedures Accurately chart pre-existing conditions and input progress notes Deliver post-op instructions following surgery or restorative procedures Take impressions for study casts Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment Take and develop x-rays; collect and record health histories Serve as infection control officer : develop protocols and sterilize equipment Monitor and follow up on equipment and handpiece repairs Complete daily / weekly / monthly tasks (e.g., autoclave testing, trap cleaning) Assist with monthly supply orders Support recall and treatment plan reports when requested Adhere to all government and company regulations Provide direct patient care across specialties including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery Experience in customer service and strong computer skills Upbeat attitude and outgoing personality - a must! Ability to multitask effectively Team player with reliable transportation Willingness to travel between Hiram, Cartersville, and Decatur locations Dental assisting experience in IV sedation and oral surgery Excellent chairside manner Adaptability to different techniques and patient needs Ability to work under pressure and strive for growth Commitment to following policies and procedures Mileage reimbursement Full-time team members qualify for Medical, Dental, and Optical Insurance after 90 days Unique opportunity to work in a multi-specialty practice Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Opportunities for Professional Growth
