Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible all while staying connected to the people around us.

We are looking for a Video / Imaging Software Engineer to join our team of media processing specialists. Your mission will be to design, develop, and implement the next-generation media processing pipeline and framework that powers exciting experiences on Apple Vision Pro. We need your passion, knowledge, and creativity to solve complex technical challenges. You will have a unique and direct opportunity to create products that will inspire millions of Apple's customers as a core member of our fast-paced group.

Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor degree in CS / EE, or similar fields
• 7+ years experience with software development
• Experience with image and video processing
• Excellent programming skills and proficient with one of the programming languages : C / C++, Objective-C, and Swift
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Preferred qualifications :

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
