Power BI Database Engineer

Overview / Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our data visualization team. In this role, you will support our lead BI developer and help maintain and enhance our business intelligence dashboards and reports, support the migration of legacy reports and creating new, high-impact Power BI solutions. You will interface with key stakeholders and leverage your technical proficiency throughout the migration process, as well as design and develop advanced interactive dashboards that drive insights and support strategic data-driven decision-making. This position requires a robust combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Dashboard Development : Collaborate and support business units to design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Data Integration : Partner with the data engineering team to integrate Power BI with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and implementing necessary data transformations.
• Analysis & Reporting : Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring rapid load times and intuitive user experiences.

Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Training & Support : Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users on Power BI usage, best practices, and data visualization techniques.
