About the Role
We’re looking for a Content Manager to lead and scale Buildofarm’s YouTube channel. This role is focused on strategy, execution, and growth—ensuring our long-form and short-form video content is consistent, high-quality, and aligned with our brand voice and business goals. You will be responsible for planning content, coordinating production, optimizing performance, and turning expertise into engaging, educational media.
Responsibilities
Own and manage Buildofarm’s YouTube content strategy end-to-end
Plan, organize, and maintain a consistent publishing calendar
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external editors or freelancers
Oversee video scripting, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and metadata
Optimize content for reach, engagement, and retention (SEO, CTR, watch time)
Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, compliance, and messaging
Repurpose long-form content into shorts, clips, and cross-platform assets
Requirements
3+ years of experience in content management or YouTube-focused roles
Strong understanding of YouTube strategy, analytics, and growth mechanics
Experience managing content calendars and production workflows
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment
Bonus Points If You
Have experience with educational, finance, or B2B content
Understand storytelling for authority-based brands
Have worked with founders or subject-matter experts on camera
Are familiar with video editing workflows and tools
