About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team and support a large-scale HCM transformation initiative. This project involves migrating from Workday to Oracle HCM and requires a hands-on leader to drive execution across integrations, data migration, configuration, and testing phases. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
About the Team :
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Payroll, Data Migration, and external vendors such as Oracle and the client organization. Operating within a highly matrixed PeopleTech organization, the team works on multiple parallel workstreams under tight regulatory and payroll-driven deadlines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives within the Omaha HCM transformation program
- Own program planning, dependency management, and tracking of milestones across various workstreams
- Partner with Product and Functional Leads to develop and maintain sprint and milestone plans, as well as execution scorecards
- Manage Risks, Issues, Actions, and Decisions (RAID), ensuring timely escalation of blockers
- Coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including payroll-dependent runs and retesting, ensuring alignment across teams
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data Migration teams to distinguish between product defects and data / configuration issues
- Facilitate cross-team forums, status reviews, and executive updates with clear, concise communication
- Maintain Jira hygiene, ensure accurate status reporting, and follow up on action items
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)6+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role3+ years supporting large-scale enterprise systems implementations, including HCM, ERP, Payroll, or Finance platformsRequired Skills & Experience :
Proven experience managing cross-functional technical programs involving integrations and data dependenciesStrong ability to execute across multiple parallel workstreams under tight deadlinesExperience working with payroll-critical or compliance-sensitive systemsAbility to articulate technical issues and their business impact clearly to stakeholders and leadershipExcellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for executive status updatesTools & Technologies :
JiraGoogle Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)Data migration cyclesFamiliarity with Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar enterprise SaaS platforms (hands-on or program-level)Certifications :
