Greenpoint is an Independent and Assisted Senior Living community located in Liverpool, NY. The ideal candidate for our cook position will prepare high-quality, made-to-order meals for over 150 residents, ensuring safety, nutrition and satisfaction in every dish all in compliance with NYS Department of Health regulatory requirements. This position is critical in supporting the overall health and well-being of our residents. Part-time positions available!

POSITION SUMMARY :

• The essential functions of the job for the Cook requires, and may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of Viva Senior Living to include, but are not limited to the following :
• Comply with standards of business conduct in accordance with federal, state, and local health and regulatory standards and guidelines, as applicable.
• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED
• Must be able to work well with peers in a congenial work environment, and above all, maintain the utmost compassion and dignity to the residents and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights.
• In exigent circumstances, the employee may be subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather,

evacuation, temporary staffing shortages, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Requirements :

Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 50 pounds or less; satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical as required.
