Summary :

We are seeking a highly technical engineer or scientist to develop features and support the creation of automation and autonomy products for complex off-road vehicles and related control systems using a cloud-based solutions stack. We welcome candidates at both early and advanced stages of their careers who can demonstrate significant contributions and highly independent work in a fast-paced software delivery environment.

Responsibilities :

• Architect and propose new AWS / Databricks solutions and updates to existing backend systems that process terabyte and petabyte level data.
• Collaborate closely with the product management team and end users to understand customer experience and system requirements, build backlog, and prioritize work.
• Build infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
• Improve system scalability and optimize workflows to reduce cloud costs.
• Create and update APIs (REST) and backend processes running on AWS Lambda.
• Develop and support solutions involving containerization (, Docker) and databases (, PostgreSQL / PostGIS).
• Engage in MLOps activities, such as deploying CVML models via Sagemaker and MLFlow, and perform data analysis using the AWS / Databricks stack with SQL / Pyspark.
• Migrate CI / CD pipelines to Github Actions.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting for multiple systems using tools like Datadog.
• Enable field testing and customer support operations by debugging and fixing data issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists to scalably fetch and manipulate large data sets for model building and analysis.

Pay Transparency : The typical base pay for this role across the is :   $ - $  / hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
