Salary : $21.20 / hour minimum. Job / salary offer would be commensurate with job level and experience.

Schedule : Monday-Friday

GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY

Operates and monitors the enterprise server and other central processing, performs file back-ups, and resolves system hardware malfunctions by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities :

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

Minimum : Associate's degree in computer related field; or two years complex mainframe computer room environment experience; or equivalent combination of education / training and experience. Knowledge of mainframe operating environments.

Preferred : Hardware maintenance experience.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES :

Word processing, spreadsheet, and database experience required; knowledge of mainframe operating environments required. Ability to prioritize and handle frequent deadlines and tight time constraints.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent.

REASONING SKILLS :

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
