Your Daily Endeavors Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate surgical procedures
  • Ensuring sterile fields are maintained and infection control measures are observed
  • Presenting instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical teams
  • Managing and preparing surgical tools before, during, and post-surgery
  • Monitoring and maintaining surgical supplies for each operation
  • Collaborating with nurses, anesthesia providers, and surgical professionals for seamless patient care
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate surgical counts
Education Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Necessary Certifications:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Well-versed in surgical instrumentation and procedures across various specialties
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced settings
  • Quickly prioritizing tasks and responding to the needs of the surgical team
  • Meticulous organizational skills and a keen attention to detail and cleanliness
