ASSEMBLY OPERATOR I

Volt is immediately hiring for an Assembly Operator I (3rd shift and 1st weekend shift) at Hampton, VA 23666.

As an Assembly Operator I, you will:

• Follow standardized work instructions for the assembly of components in accordance with top/sub level drawings.
• The testing of electronics/mechanical parts assembly's that require good hand eye coordination.
• Read and comprehending manufacturing drawings and S.O.Ps.
• 5s - Ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained during the shift and on the responsible areas.
• Inspect electronics parts.
• Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in all duties.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Familiar Using microscopes.
• Work with computers.
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

This is Full-Time, Contract Opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Candidates with electronics or technology manufacturing (electronic or mechanical, sensor component technology manufacturing) experience required.
• High school diploma/ GED.

Schedule: 3rd shift M-F 10:30PM -7:00AM

1st shift - Schedule Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon 6am-6pm.

Location - Hampton, VA 23666

Payrate Range in Between - $21 - $24.15/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
