Job Description :

• Serves as a resource for clinical inquiry process, including identification of potential projects, and / or subject matter expertise.
• Demonstrates a “spirit of inquiry” to support professional curiosity including research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives using the organization’s preferred structure, i.e. PDSA (plan, do, study, act).
• Works with others to identify problems and solutions and collaboratively create and assists in the implementation of the changes planned.
• Creates, plans, implements, and coordinates orientation for individuals new to the nursing unit / department using the ANPD standards of practice including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation with the NPD Practice model using inputs, throughputs, and outcomes to ensure a systematic approach to onboarding orientation.
• Adjusts implementation strategies as needed based on the learner’s developmental level, learning needs, readiness, ability to learn, language, and cultural preferences. Engages learners in planned educational activities through use of effective facilitation skills.
• Creates, plans, implements, and coordinates activities related to training of new graduates, experienced nurses, and ancillary staff new to the unit / department based on collection of data that is used systematically and purposefully to ensure relevant and evidence-based learning for each clinician.

Pay Range :

$70,682.60 - $131,480.21
