Job Title :

Location : San Antonio / Plano

Salary Range : Competitive

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team. This role involves designing and overseeing data architecture solutions to support our business needs. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in data modeling, cloud infrastructure, and data warehouse solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • 6 or more years of experience in building data warehouses and as middleware interface for applications
  • 4 or more years of experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Database Re-engineering
  • Proficiency in designing data models for hybrid cloud data warehouses and data lakes
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER / Studio, or similar
  • Strong experience with AWS and on-premises infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex data requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the P&C Insurance Domain
  • Understanding of modern data warehouse concepts, Data Lake, ELT, and ETL

    • Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business analysts or subject matter experts to understand data requirements and build logical and physical data models
  • Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models
  • Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and optimize the ecosystem
  • Plan and support implementation of designed data structures by coordinating with admin and application development teams
  • Maintain strong documentation and presentation skills
