The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospitallocatedin the heart of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. The Ridge provides psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years.

Job Duties include:

• Responsible for managing and coordinating the treatment activities offered to the patient, interface with the treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations, referring professionals and implementation and supervision of the discharge planning.
• Coordinates and tracks all of the admission and continue stay reviews for pre-certifications
• Actively participates in treatment team and works directly with the patient's in aftercare planning and setting up appointments and facilitates placement referrals for discharge as appropriate

Job Qualifications:

Education:

• Master's degree in Social work, Psychology, orotherMental Health field or RN license is preferred.
• MinimumAssociate Degreewith 5 years mental health experiencerequired.

Certifications/Licensure:

• Crisis intervention training isrequiredand is offered upon hire.
• CPR isrequiredand offered upon hire.

Experience:

• One to two years of experience in a psychiatric hospital is preferred.
• One to two years of experience in Utilization Management preferred.

Other Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
