Lactation Counselor, Night Shift

Under general supervision, assumes responsibility for the nursing management and evaluation of care provided to patients who participate in the practice of breastfeeding. Functions as a primary care provider in collaboration with physicians and other health team members. Plans, implements and evaluates educational programs related to breast feeding.

Education : Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required

Experience : 2 years full-time (or equivalent) directly related clinical experience

Skills : Knowledge of techniques and the application of lactation theory.

• Skill in written and oral communication
• Skill in using computers and personal productivity applications
• Ability to instruct and support patients
• Ability to assess patients, plan effective interventions and evaluate outcomes from those interventions.

Pay Range

$31.25 - $48.02

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
