DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with a team of cloud engineers to build and maintain a DevOps platform that supports development teams. This hands-on technical role is focused on enhancing company CI/CD standards and developing shared cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

1. 
   Build, develop, and operate an efficient Jenkins environment.
   
2. 
   Define, customize, and improve the Jenkins offering through code and infrastructure scans.
   
3. 
   Enhance Jenkins for scalability and performance.
   
4. 
   Mature existing pipelines and assist with development of shared cloud-based solutions using AWS and Kubernetes.
   
5. 
   Create high-quality code in Python or Node.js to build shared solutions.
   
6. 
   Assist technology teams in transitioning to cloud and enterprise pipeline solutions.
   
7. 
   Promote a consultative approach to foster a DevOps mindset within the IT team.
   

Qualifications:

• 
  Operational experience with one or more CI/CD tools – Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
  
• 
  3+ years of experience managing, maintaining, and scaling a DevOps environment using Jenkins for numerous deployments.
  
• 
  Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  
• 
  Experience automating infrastructure deployment.
  
• 
  Hands-on knowledge with AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Python, and Aurora.
  
• 
  Experience with Software-Defined Networks, Software-Defined Data Centers, and Virtual Private Clouds.
  
• 
  Experience with DevOps and GitOps.
  
• 
  Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) is a plus.
  
• 
  Proactive, enthusiastic, and ambitious.
  
• 
  Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
