Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Miami Lakes, Florida. This 12-month contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational and financial analyses that drive critical business decisions in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational and financial analyses to support informed decision-making within the business unit
- Lead medium to large special projects involving quantitative and qualitative research
- Design and modify business processes to improve operational efficiency
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL
- Apply standardized tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and present data for business insights
- Work extensively with data analysis, market intelligence, and modeling to support business strategies
- Utilize databases to derive insights including demand modeling, locational analysis, segment analysis, growth modeling, and propensity modeling
- Transform qualitative information into defined quantitative datapoints
- Drive projects forward to build a more complex customer data environment with enhanced tools and capabilities
- Support business performance tracking through advanced analytics and reporting
