Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location : Concord, CA, in office daily
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst with a focus on Credit & Collections. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our financial operations by managing accounts receivable, establishing credit lines, and ensuring timely collections across multiple locations. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, owners, and vendors to maintain compliance and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up new client accounts and establish appropriate credit lines.
- Review accounts receivable (AR) aging reports and run cash reports to monitor trends and identify troubled accounts.
- Create and publish weekly collection reports, highlighting DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) trends and at-risk jobs for leadership review.
- Conduct collection calls and emails and set up payment plans as needed.
- Support collection efforts for 14 locations, working with internal teams and external partners.
- Review and analyze compliance platforms to ensure payment releases and job compliance.
- Work with subcontractors and vendors to obtain compliance documents for payment release.
- Post incoming ACH and check payments.
- Execute lien waivers for payment releases and billing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline billing, compliance, and collection processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit and collection activities.
Qualifications
Experience in credit and collections, preferably in a multi-location or construction environment.Familiarity with mechanics liens and lien waivers is highly desired.Proficiency in MS Office.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Degree not required; relevant experience valued.Why Join this team?
