A company is looking for a Pre-Certification Coordinator (Remote) - Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
Initiates and facilitates the pre-determination process with insurance companies
Maintains daily surgery / procedure schedules and communicates with physicians and assistants
Documents pre-certification processes and maintains logs of all pre-certifications in progress
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certification
2 years of experience in a medical office setting
No specific certification or professional license required
Associate degree preferred
Certifications such as CPC or RHIT are a plus
