A company is looking for a Software Development Manager, Design System.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team of front-end developers and SDETs

Define the technical strategy and architecture for the design system's component offering

Own sprint execution and delivery, balancing feature work with technical debt

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably computer science, math, or statistics

Minimum of eight years of related programming or testing experience, including one year in a supervisory or management role

Demonstrated mastery of modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)

5+ years leading development of component-based architectures or design system libraries at scale

Success in driving accessibility compliance and enforcing engineering best practices
