Corporate Controller (CPA)

Our client (Cypress Creek Financial) is seeking a CPA level Controller who wants to be part of our success and join our team. If you are enthusiastic with a great attitude and looking for full time work in a professional, financial business environment, then this is the place for you!

This position is located in the Plantation headquarters and no outside recruiters will be engaged.

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity as the company has experienced a rebranding and really needs a Controller who can also handle some operational responsibilities.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Variation analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Processing of bank deposits
• Answering vendor inquiries
• Monthly invoicing for tenants, customers for multiple business units
• Verify and post accounts payable transactions to accounting system
• Review employee expense reports for accuracy and appropriate account coding
• Print checks and mail upon receiving signature
• Process accounts payable
• Responsible for book keeping
• Conduct financial research

Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 5-10 year’s accounting experience
• CPA required
• Microsoft Dynamics a plus, if not similar accounting package
• Excellent PC skills including MS Word and Intermediate Excel
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Must have excellent communications skills to interact with multiple levels of staff and management
• Must have ability to multi-task and handle high volume of varied responsibilities, accurately and professionally
• Must be very accurate and detail oriented
