Strap line helper must be aware of all Safety hazards, policies, guidelines, and procedures associated with the strap line helper position prior to training. Strap line helper in the manufacturing of steel strapping assists in the removal of coils from a rewinder reel using coil carriers, and transports coils from the rewinders to a conveyor system. Visually inspects coils during the process for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with our quality objectives. Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to welding position.
