divh2Junior Applications Software Engineer / h2pTorch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Applications Software Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center / PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC / HB) at Tinker AFB, OK. The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO / HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC / PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom AFB, MA. As a Junior Applications Software Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to : / pulliResolve unique or novel problems, conditions, or issues; or significantly alter standard practices, equipment, devices, processes, and known techniques / liliProvide expert advice to professional colleagues and / or agency officials responsible for broad program operations / liliProvide significant and innovative recommendations for advancing programs and / or methods / liliExecute significant projects representing an important segment of the agencys operating programs / liliExercise judgment and ingenuity in evaluating the value and applicability of new or improved technology, strategies, trends, or applications / liliInvestigate, predict, and anticipate issues and conditions extending beyond a single specialty area, and affecting known standards, approaches, precedents, or concepts / liliDevelop or collaborate in the formulation of new standards, applications, concepts, or theories changing existing knowledge and extending an understanding of phenomena / liliAssess and carry out strategies and actions to affirm the integrity, economy, quality, and effectiveness of engineering, or scientific programs, and / liliAdvocate recommendations, strategies, and actions to reconcile or resolve novel, conflicting, or controversial issues or policies / liliKnowledge of construction, environmental and structural principles and techniques is required.
