Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for building strong supplier partnerships and optimizing supply chains? We’re on the lookout for a Category Manager to lead procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory operations across our construction projects.

In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure that essential materials, equipment, and services are sourced cost-effectively, delivered on time, and meet our high standards of quality — all while staying in sync with tight project timelines and budgets. You’ll be the key link between our project teams and the supply market, helping to power successful builds from the ground up.

We are targeting $90,000-$95,000 base salary with annual 15% bonus potential. This is a hybrid role and is required to work 3 days in office. Our office is located at Colorado Blvd. & I-25 in Denver.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance for construction projects. Including but not limited to Kitchen Equipment (ovens, proofers, Turbo Chefs, etc.) HVAC, Ovens, Electrical/Lighting Package, Drive through equipment, signage.

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers. Negotiate terms and contracts to secure favorable pricing and service agreements.

• Partner with Store Design and Development to clarify specifications

• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to forecast material needs and align purchasing with construction schedules.

• Track and report on procurement budgets. Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering without compromising on quality.

• Manages and maintains consistent vendor database

• Ensure procurement practices adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements, including sustainability and safety regulations.

• Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, or quality issues that could impact project timelines.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills.

• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry supply chain best practices

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

EDUCATION – TRAINING – EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Construction Management, or related field.

• Prefer Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or Procurement (e.g., CPP).

• 5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
