Locum Physician - Family Medicine

Vivo HealthStaff Inc. is recruiting for a Family Medicine Physician in Fairfield, NJ. This is a locum position with competitive pay and travel reimbursement.

Job Details:

• Practice Setting: Private Practice
• Reason for Coverage: Provider on leave
• Dates of Coverage: ASAP - January 25th
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 20-30
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 2
• Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? No
• Services Available On-Site: Laboratory, Radiology
• Documentation System/EMR: AthenaHealth
• Practice Population: Adult, Geriatric
• Required General Procedures: EKG Interpretation
• Required Surgical Procedures: Incision & Drainage (I&D), Suturing of Minor Lacerations
• Required Occupational Medicine Procedures: Employment Physicals, Diagnosis & Management of Common Industrial-Related Medical Problems, Disability Exams

Pay and Benefits:

• $155 - $170 per Hour
• (Mileage reimbursement included)
• Malpractice Insurance: Coverage provided

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine - Required
• Local providers only (mileage will be reimbursed) - Required
• NJ license in hand - Required
• Internal credentialing must be completed with the submitting agency - Required
• Clean background - Highly preferred
• BLS certification - Required
• AthenaHealth experience - Highly preferred
• Recent outpatient experience in NJ - Highly preferred
• Credentialed with BCBS - Required
