Psychologist

Apex Therapeutic Services, LLC is seeking a Psychologist Social Worker. As a Psychologist Social Worker, you will be responsible for the psychological and emotional well-being of our patients, helping them cope with their disabilities, illnesses, or injuries. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and goals to aid patients in their recovery. You will focus on building strong relationships with patients and their families, to support their mental health needs throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Assess patient's needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
• Participate in meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment goals.

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Current professional license (Psychologist or Social Worker).
• At least 2 years of experience in a rehabilitative care setting with geriatric populations.
• Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
