Job Description : Our client is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead their thriving hospital in Torrance. Recently refreshed and spacious, the facility is designed to support a collaborative approach to veterinary medicine and deliver high-quality care for dogs and cats. The Medical Director will provide both clinical care and leadership, mentoring associates, shaping medical protocols, and ensuring a culture of compassionate service. Associate Veterinarians are also encouraged to apply, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications Needed :

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) degree with valid California license
  • Minimum 3 years of small animal clinical experience preferred
  • Prior leadership or management experience advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Dedication to advancing patient care and client service

Package :

  • Base salary range of $225,000-$250,000 for Medical Director role
  • Annual Medical Director stipend of $10,000
  • Generous sign-on bonus of up to $100,000 with relocation support
  • Guaranteed Associate base salaries from $160,000-$180,000
  • Quarterly production plan with no deficit carryover
  • Paid time off including vacation and CE days
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions
  • Coverage of CA DVM license, DEA, and professional dues
  • Annual CE allowance with additional paid CE time
