Position: Sales Consultant (Cincinnati OH)

Job Overview:
The Sales Consultant is responsible for managing and growing healthcare accounts within an assigned geographic territory. This role oversees both established business and strategic target accounts selling a portfolio of capital equipment and consumable products.

The Sales Consultant develops and executes territory sales strategies builds and manages a strong sales pipeline and closes business at the department facility and IDN levels. The primary objective is to achieve and exceed territory sales forecasts and financial goals. Frequent travel and trade show participation are required.

This is a direct-hire position.

What you will be doing as a Sales Consultant
Generate sales revenue within assigned territory by executing an effective sales plan aligned with individual and team targets.
Develop maintain and close a strong capital equipment sales pipeline to consistently achieve quota.
Approach interview demonstrate products negotiate and close sales at department facility corporate and IDN levels.
Close department-level facility-level and IDN-level contracts and agreements in compliance with company pricing and contracting strategies.
Research accounts and proactively generate and follow up on qualified sales leads.
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while developing new business through proactive selling and quote follow-up.
Evaluate customer needs and build productive long-term partnerships.
Conduct product demonstrations training sessions and continuing education (CE) programs.
Maintain and expand client contact database utilizing CRM tools.
Monitor competitive products and activity reporting insights to management.
Participate in ongoing training to remain current on multi-modality imaging products and industry trends.
Assist in implementation of territory marketing plans.
Provide weekly and monthly pipeline reports and financial data analysis to management.

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Sales Consultant
Associate Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of healthcare field sales experience required (experience calling on and meeting customers within healthcare facilities).
Proven track record of success selling capital equipment and consumable medical products to healthcare facilities and IDNs.
Demonstrated success managing complex healthcare sales cycles.
Existing relationships with major medical customers within the assigned geography preferred.
Strong clinical selling capability within hospital and healthcare environments.
Excellent business acumen with ability to present financial analysis to economic buyers.
Exceptional interpersonal networking and relationship-building skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong time management and self-discipline.
Ability to effectively present to varied audiences for demonstrations training negotiations and CE programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and (or similar CRM).
Strong desire and ability to continuously learn company products competitive offerings and customer needs.
