The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, skilled Floating Food Service Support to our corrections team in Saint Louis, MO. As a food service support, you will have the opportunity to help coordinate and prepare food for meal service in a variety of assigned locations.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the food service department to provide outstanding dining options to each assigned unit.

• Helping to enforce company policies and procedures to provide administrative direction for menu formation; food preparation, distribution, and service; budgeting and purchasing; sanitation standards; safety practices; and staffing and staff development.

• Ensuring proper temperature, portioning, and quality of meals.

• Directly preparing meals as needed.

• Other tasks as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• At least two years' experience in food service.

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the year.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• At least one years' experience in a supervisory role.

• Associate's degree or higher.

Compensation Range

$19.00 per hour
