Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00 or 07:30 - 18:00)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a STEMI/PCI facility
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT

Must-Have:
ARRT certification in hand at time of submission
Must be STEMI ready
IABP and Impella training
EP experience preferred

Description:
May work 06:30-17:00 or 07:30-18:00.
Must have ARRT certification in hand at time of submission.
Average daily census is 25-30 patients.
There are 7 rooms available for procedures.
Patient age group includes adults and geriatrics.
EP experience is preferred; floating to EP may occur if Cath Lab/IR cases are low.
Call is required, one weekday per week and every fifth weekend.
EMR system used is Epic.
Work settings include outpatient and inpatient environments.
General skills experience required includes IV starts and EKGs.
IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience includes stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
Interdisciplinary support is a part of the role.
Special procedures include cardiac catheterization, neuro, vascular, structural heart, and CTOs.
Diagnostic invasive testing and interventions are part of the responsibilities.
Travelers will be expected to float to other units and/or facilities.
References are required from within the last 24 months.
Candidates must provide copies of required certifications.
Epic charting experience is preferred.
