Based in Sacramento, CA we are a multi-state litigation law firm representing creditors in all aspects of the legal collection process. Our practice areas include the following : creditors rights, commercial transactions & litigation, and compliance . We are actively looking for an Associate Attorney to be in the forefront of cases of first impressions and contemporary issues in the business marketplace.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a wide range of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil law, coaching and mentorship, collection, creditors rights, compliance, and legal research. This position offers a unique work model with no billable hours, allowing our attorneys to focus on providing the highest quality legal services without the pressure of meeting a billable hour quota.

Responsibilities :

The Permanent Associate Attorney will be responsible for a diverse range of legal duties. Key responsibilities include :

1. Providing expert legal advice, representation, and support to clients on a variety of civil law matters.

2. Conducting comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.

3. Handling all aspects of collection and creditors rights cases, including negotiations, litigation, and settlements.

4. Ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all legal activities.

5. Training and mentoring less experienced legal staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

6. Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to deliver a coordinated and effective legal service.

7. Staying updated on the latest legal trends, court decisions, and legislative developments relevant to our practice areas.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications :

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on civil law.

4. Proven experience in coaching and mentoring other legal professionals.

5. Extensive knowledge and experience in collection and creditors rights law.

6. Strong understanding of legal compliance requirements.

7. Excellent legal research skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, practical advice.

8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

9. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.

10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
