Sterile Processing Tech - Per Diem Evenings

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Cleaning, preparation and sterilization of instruments, trays and equipment. Operating departmental machinery. Receiving, labeling, stocking and delivery of supplies and equipment. Operating a computer, answering phones and filling orders. Cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces and storage areas.

Required Qualifications :

Within 1 year of hire : National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or

Within 1 year of hire : National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Preferred Qualifications :

• 2 years Experience as SPD tech.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
