Billing Specialist

Responsibilities :

  • Billing Specialist will be responsible for invoicing related data entry in Spectrum (accounting system) - will have quantities' rates, will enter data based on the rate based on labor and equipment categories.
  • Billing Specialist will email invoices to customers copying Project Accountant
  • Billing Specialist will pull PO's
  • Billing Specialist may assist with posting revenue (entering information into Excel - mainly T&M contracts)
  • Billing Specialist may assist with setting up projects and month end support
  • Billing Specialist will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects (including assisting other offices with billing related responsibilities if time allows)

    • Requirements :

  • Previous billing experience required
  • A college degree is preferred but NOT required if a candidate has the relevant professional work experience e
  • Previous construction industry is a plus but NOT required
  • Should have experience utilizing accounting software (previous Spectrum experience is a plus but NOT required)
  • Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables)
  • A clean criminal background check and drug screen is required for the selected candidate.
