Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions dedicated to communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to devise comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide educational resources for patients and families to support therapy progress beyond the treatment room.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring seamless continuity in care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation that aligns with state, federal, and organizational policies.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
