Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have field project management experience, allowing them to operate as a field PM when necessary. This role involves overseeing subcontractors on-site from a project trailer and managing all site paperwork, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Proficiency in AutoCAD cloud software is required.
Responsibilities
Oversee subcontractors from the project site trailer.
Manage site paperwork, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Utilize AutoCAD cloud software for project management.
Coordinate with owners and contractors in the field.
Support small commercial construction projects.
Essential Skills
Experience in project management, construction, and construction management.
Proficiency in change order management, RFIs, and project coordination.
Ability to read and interpret construction documentation and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in project estimation and engineering.
Experience in small commercial construction projects.
Work Environment
You will work in a small company environment with fewer than 10 people currently. Our new office space is located in Gaithersburg. The role involves working both in the office and on-site in a project trailer. This position offers growth opportunities within a small but expanding company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gaithersburg, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $53.00/hr.
