Warehouse Associate

Job Full Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role involves receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

- Unload trucks, check in merchandise, and distribute items to the appropriate storage locations.
- Accurately pick items from storage according to pick lists, ensuring order accuracy and efficiency.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring that all shipments are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring proper stock levels.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling of equipment and materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that the warehouse is free of safety hazards.
- Complete necessary documentation for receiving, shipping, and inventory control processes.
- Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] frequently.

Work Hours:
