Project Coordinator

We are seeking a Project Coordinator/Quality Control Specialist to support gas and telecom design projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for project tracking and quality control.
• Conduct quality control checks to uphold project standards.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and communicate progress effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering and drafting teams to facilitate project success.

• 2+ years of project coordination experience in utilities, gas, telecom, or civil design.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and agency submittals.
• Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Located in Plantation, FL, the position is full-time with standard business hours. The work environment is office-based, involving coordination across engineering and drafting teams. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plantation, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
