Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging Math Instructors to join our team! As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will work closely with students to help them develop math skills, boost their confidence, and achieve academic success. If you are driven, motivated, and eager to make a difference, we would love to meet you! What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Teach math to students in grades K-12 using the Mathnasium Method™. Provide individualized instruction based on each student’s learning plan. Utilize the Socratic method to guide students through problem-solving. Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment. Work with multiple students simultaneously while ensuring their progress. Track and record student performance and progress in Mathnasium’s system. Communicate with the Center Director and team regarding student development.. Support center operations, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean workspace.

What we are looking for in a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Strong math competency through Algebra II (or higher preferred).
  Passion for teaching and working with kids.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to engage and motivate students in a fun, supportive environment.
  Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.
  Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium. Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
