Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Department RN for a travel assignment in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity offers an competitive daily rate of: $750, this for a per diem, scheduled as nightshifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, triage, treatment, and evaluation.
• Rapidly and accurately assess patients' conditions, prioritize care based on urgency, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following proper dosage and administration guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, specialists, and other nurses, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient information, nursing observations, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about their medical condition, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Assist in emergency procedures, such as resuscitation efforts, trauma care, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency nursing practice through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:
• Active RN license in Virgina (or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
