Job Title : Psychologist Profession : Psychology Specialty : Staff Augmentation Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM Experience : Minimum years of experience required License : Required Certifications : Required Must-Have : Must clear a metal detector; no prohibited items allowed, including cell phones, cans, tobacco, and vapes. Description : Administers and interprets psychometric tests as part of treatment needs for specific diagnoses. Conducts individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed on the individual mental health treatment plan. Provides mental health liaison services to an assigned caseload, monitoring offender compliance with the treatment plan. Completes detailed screens, mental health evaluations, and crisis services within the scope of practice. Writes reports and documents, including documentation of all offender contacts and progress notes. Completes psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning. Consults with institution staff regarding the mental health caseload and service needs. Attends meetings of psychology clinical case consultation. Instructs in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development. Conducts expert-witness assessments as needed. No cell phones permitted until proper paperwork has been submitted and approved. Food must be in clear, see-through containers.
