Your Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive patient evaluations, request diagnostic testing, and design personalized care strategies
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
• Instruct patients and families on preventative measures, wellness practices, and disease management
• Prescribe medications and therapies according to your scope of practice

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
