Position: ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments.

• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.

• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and results.

• Monitor and document patient vitals during surgical procedures.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure patient safety.

• Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.

• Engage in team meetings to discuss performance metrics and improvement strategies.

• Assist in inventory management of surgical supplies and equipment.

• Support the onboarding and training of new surgical tech staff.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is mandatory.

• Experience in assisting surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a surgical setting.

• Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and protocols.

• Ability to monitor and document patient vitals accurately.

• Willingness to engage in performance discussions and improvement strategies.

• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration.

• Ability to adapt to new surgical techniques and technologies.

• Strong organizational skills for inventory management of surgical supplies.
