Responsibilities
Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments.
Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.
Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and results.
Monitor and document patient vitals during surgical procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure patient safety.
Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.
Engage in team meetings to discuss performance metrics and improvement strategies.
Assist in inventory management of surgical supplies and equipment.
Support the onboarding and training of new surgical tech staff.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is mandatory.
Experience in assisting surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a surgical setting.
Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and protocols.
Ability to monitor and document patient vitals accurately.
Willingness to engage in performance discussions and improvement strategies.
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration.
Ability to adapt to new surgical techniques and technologies.
Strong organizational skills for inventory management of surgical supplies.
