Our work spans the full lifecycle of complex systems, from early concept and prototyping through fielded deployment. With multiple working prototypes in hand, we are entering the critical phase of transitioning these platforms into production over the coming years to deliver capable systems at scale. We are looking for talented and experienced engineers who want to take ownership of hard problems and play a key role in bringing multiple platforms into production.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive systems engineering leadership across the full lifecycle, from concept through deployment.
• Develop and maintain system models using MBSE tools to define, analyze, and verify architectures in accordance with MOSA principles.
• Lead requirements development, allocation, traceability, and verification / validation activities to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate hardware and software components into cohesive robotic systems.
• Guide robotic system development with a fundamental understanding of how and why the components of a system work together to achieve an operational goal.
• Support safety engineering activities including hazard analyses, FMEAs, and safety case development for autonomous systems.
• Coordinate and lead cross-disciplinary integration activities across mechanical, electrical, software, and autonomy teams, ensuring interfaces are well-defined and validated.
• Guide and mentor team members in systems engineering best practices, tool usage, and process improvement.

Additional Requirements

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-restricted information. The ITAR / EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

While a DoD Security Clearance is not required when starting at Stratom, we require our employees maintain their eligibility to obtain one.
