RNS Baylor shifts weekend

Norwalk Care Center -

The RN Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the nursing units. Must be an experienced Registered Nurse.

• Interact with supervisory discipline to assure quality of care is provided within policies and parameters defined by the nursing department.
• Duties include but not limited to medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents care and implementation of schedules per residents.
• Participates in formulating, implementing and interpreting nursing policies and procedures.
• Promotes and evaluates staff adherence to all Nursing and Facility policies and procedures.
• Conducts rounds on all residents on her/his assigned units. Will review the chart documentation on all the residents in the 24-hour report.
• Ensures new admissions, discharges and transfers are entered in the electronic Medical Record (Quick ADT) as soon as it occurred.
