Ruby Electric in Springfield, IL is looking to add a full-time Experienced Electrical Service Technician to our growing team!

The pay for this position is $22-$36 an hour , and we offer a great benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, a company vehicle, short- and long-term disability, PTO, company parties, growth opportunities, and uniforms. As an Experienced Electrical Service Technician, we ask that you provide your own hand tools, but we will provide nearly all the rest of the equipment needed to complete job tasks.

THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS AN EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Your schedule is consistent from 7 : 30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a great work-life balance, so you can plan your weeks with confidence.

As an Experienced Electrical Service Technician, you'll find yourself leading or assisting on jobs across a wide range of markets, including residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural settings. Your days are dynamic and filled with variety. You'll be the one to inspect, diagnose, and fix different electrical devices and systems, and you'll install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and wiring. You might also assist with generator installations, maintenance, and repairs. Your role involves regular local travel within a 30-40-mile radius of Springfield, and you'll be the key point of contact, communicating with customers about the service work you've performed.

QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART :

• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years of experience as an electrician
• Ability to travel about 30-40 miles from Springfield
• Ability to climb ladders, work in attics and crawl spaces, and work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to provide own hand tools
