Appian Developer

Role : Appian DeveloperLocation : Tallahassee, FLLongterm Key responsibilitiesAppian Development : Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications, including process models, records, interfaces, and rules.Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into functional Appian solutions.Azure DevOps CI / CD : Design, build, and manage Azure DevOps pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of Appian application packages.Integration : Integrate Appian applications with third-party systems using APIs (REST / SOAP) and other tools.Testing and Troubleshooting : Perform unit and integration testing, and troubleshoot technical issues across the Appian platform and deployment pipelines.Deployment : Manage the deployment of Appian application packages to various environments (test, production) using Azure DevOps release pipelines.Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and other developers.Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices and standards are followed.Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions. Required skills and experienceAppian Platform : Strong understanding and experience with the Appian low-code platform, including its architecture, process models, records, rules, and interfaces.Azure DevOps : Experience with Azure DevOps for CI / CD, including building and managing build and release pipelines.Programming : Knowledge of integration technologies like REST and SOAP APIs.Agile Methodologies : Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment, possibly using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.Cloud : Experience working in a cloud environment, with a preference for Azure.Databases : Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.Troubleshooting : Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot deployment and application issues.
