About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative R&D team. This position focuses on developing new products and supporting existing designs, with an emphasis on hydraulic systems and advanced structural analysis. If you have strong mechanical engineering experience and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering manager and team on new product development projects.
• Perform engineering calculations, including stress and load analysis for hydraulic components.
• Create detailed design drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys to validate designs and optimize performance.
• Develop quality control and testing documentation; collect and analyze prototype data.
• Communicate with operations and production teams to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Gather user requirements and incorporate product feedback into design improvements.
• Monitor product performance and manage design updates post-launch.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coral Springs, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00 / hr.
