Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plasma Cutter Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications, drawings, and safety standards. Needs to be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane.

MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE IN 1 / 16. PLASMA CUTTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and / or manual plasma cutting machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
  • Load, position, and secure metal materials for cutting
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and defects
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Work collaboratively with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production deadlines

Evaluation Hire Position

$18.00 / hr

M-F 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm
