Electronic Assembler

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join their team. A key qualification for this role is holding an IPC-610 or IPC-620 certification or has previous experience with the IPC certs. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in cable harnessing, and component installation, with a solid understanding of IPC standards. Responsibilities include performing final assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of electronic products in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. This individual will be part of a large team supporting multiple production and manufacturing programs. Candidates with experience in defense, military, or aerospace environments are highly preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1-5 years of experience as an electronic assembler
• IPC 620 certification (620 highly preferred)
• Experience with : assembling cable and wire harnesses and assembling kits
• Background in defense, military, or aerospace
• Familiarity with crimp, stripping, and tooling needed to assemble harnesses
